Me and You

I used to say I'd never go for you
kept telling myself that your love isn't true
I'm in love with someone else is what I'd say
but deep inside I knew I loved you more each day
I saw no proof to confirm that you were real
that's why I didn't want you to know how I feel
but this feeling I have I can't deny
that's why I decided to give "us" a try

Do you only say you love me to please me
why not prove it so I can see
I'm confused as to what's in your mind
your deepest emotions I want to find
I want you to know that my love is real
is this also the way you feel
please tell me that your love is true
and til the end of time will be me and you

I don't know what you did to make me feel this way
but you should know it grows more everyday
I can't put to words what's deep inside me
one thing's for sure you got me smitten completely
if what you claim to feel is all just a lie
admit it now although it would make me cry
please tell me while what I feel I can still control
don't wait til I've given you my heart in whole

My heart broke once
still I gave it a chance
to love once again
hoping this time it will never end
