Happy Halloween!

Lookee what my lil sis Sandra gave me! Diba ang galing? Hay, wish ko lang may mga ganyang talents ako diba? Hehe.

Anyhoo, halloween na. Kailan pa ba nauso halloween dito? Before ako umalis for Canada solemn lang dito pag ganitong panahon. Tapos ngayon may trick or treat na din! I remember the first time I went trick or treating, nandun kami sa Edmonton pa nun. I went as Little Red Riding Hood with my cousins. There was this one mansion that we went to where you had to go through the house (they converted it to a haunted house, as in the whole family and staff were dressed as monsters) before you could get your treat. So my cousins and I went through it, we were screaming from start to finish. Pero hello naman! They gave each of us a basket of goodies with Godiva chocolates, the largest size chips, packs of candies and soke softdrinks in a can. Talagang all out sila! Kaya masasayang mga paos kami nun!

Si Dana, she went as a bumblebee her first time, 1 month old pa lang. Eh siyempre si mommy niya ang kumain ng mga candies niya! Cuuuuute niya nun! Hay!

So yan na muna. Happy birthday to Duday! Thank you Sandra for the gift, I love it!

D' Gathering

Andami naming ginawa nung Saturday.

First, we went to Octobugfest sa Golden Valley, Marikina around 3pm. I have some friends there kaya ako pumunta. Saw a cool yellow convertible Karmann Ghia, lady driven. Ganda! Magkasama sila magasawa, her hubby drove a type 3 fastback na may rag top. I'm still waiting for the pictures.

Then we went to the Tsikot Anniversary Celebration at Hula Hula Restobar at Shangri La Mall. Wow ah! Pica pica lang yung food pero nabusog kami, as in! I also won some STP and Prestone products sa raffle. Again, still waiting for pictures. San ka na ba gov?!?!

Last, we went to Silvercity for D' Gathering. Ang inabutan ko dun sa star studded concert was Julianne (they were having audio problems I think kasi pasigaw siya kumakanta and yet hindi clear), Sitti (I like her, she looks so sweet pero she was a boring performer) then Nina (who I'm a big fan of). Si Nina lang ang malinaw yung voice at hindi biased yang comment na yan ha! She sang Someday, Somewhere Down the Road and Umbrella. Sayang yung outfit niya, cool sana pero biglang may chain sa neck na parang dog. Nakakaoff kasi medyo demeaning ang dating. San na pictures gov!

I'm having an audio visual system installed in Kaydee soon para kay Dana para imbes na ang kulit kulit niya sa back seat, nood na lang siya DVD. I've already discussed it with Jeff Tan and he's installing a JVC/JBL combo. Niresearch ko mga specs, maganda naman so I'm happy. Yun na muna, I have to go to Chevrolet and get the tint fixed, mali yung ginawa ng tinter eh. Tsk!

All About Dana

Last Friday was a great day for Dana. We woke up early to get her ready for her halloween party. She ate Krispy Kreme doughtnuts with milk for breakfast, her favorite. Then I gave her a bath and dried her hair so I could spray on the temporary hair color to make her blonde that I bought from HBC. Hay naku! Ayun, kinulang so I had to wash her hair again kasi ang pangit naman kung yung lower half lang ng hair niya ang blonde diba? 2 bottles yun ah! Anyway, I spread glitters all over her costume, some on her hair na lang. Tapos, I put shimmer powder all over her body. As you can see, pati yung shoes ni Tinkerbell ginaya namin. Sa Marcella ako nakabili nung furry ball na tinahi on top of it. I made her confetti the night before to act as fairy dust din. Ang ganda niya diba? So they had a program at school, she won a game (yung pahabaan ng pagsabi ng happy halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen, you get the point, hehe) kaya she was very happy. Afterwards, tumuloy kami sa Galleria for lunch kasi ang gaganda ng results ng exams niya! Minus 2 na yung pinakamababa, yehey! Malamang first honor na naman siya for the quarter, she's so smart talaga. Iyay made her a Snow White costume, wala lang, gift lang daw. She's now walking around the house with it on, as in ayaw niya hubadin! Tapos kanikanina lang, she went in my room with an apple, took a bite and pretended to faint! Hahaha! That made my day.

I'm gonna have some coffee muna. I was up late last night because I was out with my friends, as in lumagare kami. I'll blog about that later na lang. Mwah!

These two pictures are just some of the very many pictures the ladies took on October 21, 2007 at the Pier One Ortigas parking lot. Yung iba sa mga members diyan ko lang nameet for the first time, ayun, binanatan ko na agad ng kakulitan ko para at ease na agad sila sa akin. It was a fun day. First time mag pictorial ni Kaydee, I wonder when the official pictures will be posted sa website namin?

Anyway, busy kami ni Rose sa outreach, we're hoping to make 75 street kids happy. I've already bought some books that I saw were on sale sa Powerbooks para mabigay sa mga bata. As in mga bagong books na nakaplastic pa 50 pesos lang! Steal! And I know the street children will truly appreciate it kaya happy ako. Hay! Medyo yun nga ang main na iniisip ko ngayon e kasi yung kay Dana tapos na. Ginagawa siya ni Iyay ng Snow White na costume tapos kanina nagpatahi pa ako ng Tinkerbell costume niya. I'm having a hard time trying to find that hair coloring to spray on her so I can make her blonde like Tinkerbell. Ang mahal naman ng wig kaya no to that diba? So, back to the street children...I was at Greenhills kanina at talagang when I see toys and school supplies parang gusto ko ng mamili para sa kanila e wala pa akong pera at saka we don't even know the break down yet (meaning how many kids are male/female and what age) so saka na lang, sabay sabay na lang daw kaming lahat.

Ayun, so to whoever's reading this and you'd like to come and chill with us, we're always at Starbucks sa may Corinthian Drive every Thursday, 8 pm onwards. Everyone is welcome to hang out with us! Friendly kami, promise!

Kaydee is Here...

I didn't get her on Monday, there were some bank documents problem so that day was just stressful for me. But I got her yesterday! There you see the guys prepping her, someone was putting tint on while another was putting seat covers on and another was checking the engine. I was just waiting for the documents to be ready while I took these pictures. Dana was busy with her gameboy as usual. I think she's addicted to the Bratz game.



So anyway, I was at Chevrolet Pasig from 3 pm - 6:30 pm on Monday. As in ganon ako katagal naghintay dun. Nakapagbayad na ako ng down payment and everything and they guaranteed na okay na ang lahat tapos pagpunta ko dun, SURPRISE!, me problem pala. Kaya sobrang mangiyak ngiyak na ko pero siyempre I composed myself and waited. Binili ko si Dana ng Jollibee para hindi magutom. Tapos nagusap usap na yung general sales manager and dealer operator and they spoke with the bank.



They took so long. Sabi nila nagpapakipot yung bank and everything. So the bank asked for one last requirement bago irelease yung unit. No problem with me, sabi ko just pick it up in the morning and it'll be ready. In fairness to them, they let me take home an Optra kasi nga wala akong dalang car. So the next day, yesterday, nawala na yung enthusiasm ko. Sabi ko sa kanila kapag hindi pa marelease, just cancel the transaction dahil ayoko na at sobrang exhausted ako from Monday na talagang bumagsak ako sa kama with a fever.



So anyway, hindi na ako hopeful. Gusto ko na lang matapos para tapos na ang pagod ko. After picking up Dana from school, we slept lang and when we woke up at around 3:30 pm, ayun, may mga text na from the sales manager that pwede na irelease yung unit. So pumunta agad kami but lo and behold! 7 pm na narelease yung car ko! Kaya talagang hanggang ngayon pagod at stressed pa ako from what they put me through. At least Dana is happy, yun lang naman ang importante eh. Kaya it was worth it pa din.

I Now Pronounce You...

have a brand new car! Yahoo! Muntik na kaya ako hindi makatulog last night, as in I had to take 3 tablets ng decolgen forte para lang makatulog. Mamaya na yan! Sabi ni Jallen, yung manager sa Chevrolet, that latest na ang 4 pm. Duday faxed the needed requirements to print out the documents para mamayang hapon pick up na lang. Dana and I are ecstatic! Sabi ko sa kanya that if she becomes first honor again this semester, I'll take her on a road trip. Her sem break is coming up. Finally, a week of sleeping in for me.

I had to wake up early for Dana, exams kasi niya today. I was reviewing with her until 8:30 am. Hello naman! She was so bored kasi she already knew everything! She's such an intelligent little girl (got that from me!).

Someone e-mailed me and asked why I don't seem to talk about my love life dito sa blog. Wala lang, I'm not comfortable talking about something that personal eh. I save personal stuff for my closest friends, I'm private like that. This blog is my medicine against boredom. I enjoy reading other blogs and leaving comments and making friends along the way. Pag friends na saka ako nagkukwento! Hahaha!

I saw I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry last night. Tawa ako ng tawa. Beneath the comedy though is a meaningful movie that promotes people rights (they were referring to homosexual rights sa movie but I choose to call it people rights dahil people sila). I've known quite a lot of gay people. Most of my mom's friends are gay and she used to take us with them when they went to Baclaran and bowling afterwards. They are some of the funniest and nicest people that I know. I have gay friends din, sarap nila kasama. Never a dull moment talaga. Kaya seeing Adam Sandler and Kevin James in a movie that tackles this issue made me respect them more. Homosexuals are human, they have rights. Let's not take that away from them just because we think they're different. Para sa kanila different tayo, but do they discriminate us? Treat others as you would want others to treat you.

Can't Hardly Wait

Why does time go so slowly when you're waiting for something/someone? Diba! As in parang 5 hours and 30 minutes ko ngayon! Ang OA ko noh? I'm so excited about Kaydee, the new car, Dana is too. She keeps asking me when we're going to pick it up. And I keep telling her we're both anxiously waiting and we'll get it soon. So I really hope sa Monday walang mangyari to hinder me from getting it. Dahil nakukulitan na ako kay Dana at nakukulitan na siya sa akin! Hehehe.

So anyway, I'm adding Sandra's website sa links ko kasi I read her blog everyday. Smart 15 year old! Nagleave siya ng comment dito, I felt so old kasi "ate" tawag niya sa akin. I'm going to add more links na madalas kong pinupuntahan para naman makita din sila ng ibang tao na pumupunta dito (kung meron man, haha).

I'm sorry I can't sit still so I have to cut this short. Mwah!

Yay!

I received word that my application for the new car was approved yesterday! Yahoo! So that picture up there is it. Chevrolet Spark yan. Ayoko sana niyan kasi Korean ang engine pero since they're under GM, pwede na sa ngayon dahil practical yung price niya. 55,000 yung downpayment tapos 10,000 a month. Maayos at comfortable na car na yan para sa amin ni Dana kaya worth it. I think my unit will be released on Monday na so super sobrang excited ako! I haven't told my club mates, only Janniz and Gov know about it. Sabi ko sa kanila secret na muna namin para surprise ko na lang everyone else sa Starbucks tambay namin. Hahaha! I can imagine the look on their faces dahil talagang wala silang clue na I was even planning to buy. I wasn't really kaya lang, maganda yung deal so sayang kung hindi grab diba? Yun na muna, I have to go to Uratex pa.

The second level of Aladdin is pissing me off, I suck at video games.

I'm planning to buy a new car, I hope it comes through by the end of the month.

I'm busy helping organize our club's outreach project, it's fulfilling and exhausting.

CSI Las Vegas dvd number 6 is missing, I wonder where it is.

I really want the HP TX1213 AU, such a sexy laptop.

After CSI, Gilmore Girls naman, I love that mother and daughter tandem.

I've ran out of books to read at home, maybe I shouldn't finish one every 2 hours.

I drink coffee too much, I should cut down.

I'm looking for private health insurance, any suggestions?

I need to get back to what I'm doing, sorry I'm neglecting the blog again.
