Crappiest Field Trip EVER!!!
I woke up at 5:30 in the morning today because it was Dana's field trip. I had high expectations for today since we paid a pretty nifty sum to join. So, we got to school at 6:45 in the morning, granted we got there at the last minute but imagine my irritation when I saw there were not enough comfortable seats for me and Dana. I have to admit I almost blew a lid but when I saw Dana so happy and excited I immediately calmed down.On we went all the way to Paranaque (a 2 hour drive because of the traffic), only to stay at the Mongol factory for not even an hour before we drove to Marikina (which is close to Antipolo). Anyway, Mongol was a total bust! It really was! What a waste of time.
Next, as I mentioned, was Marikina to go to the World of Butterflies where there were barely any butterflies and where the kids were all so hungry (because it was 12:15 pm when we got there) that it also turned out to be a waste!
Last was Avilon Zoo in Rodriguez, Rizal. So freaking far! Half the zoo is under renovation and there weren't enough animals to call it a zoo in my opinion.
We all just had a really really bad day.

The Pursuit of HappYness
I finally got to see this movie via dvd (yes it's pirated) the other day. I have actually been waiting to see this in theatres but it's just taking too long so I had to resort to buying the dvd. Anyway, Will Smith acting as a less fortunate person was just not convincing but I commend him still for trying to hard. He's such a dedicated performer and that son of his was pretty good as well.
This got me thinking, we all want to be happy. But what is happiness? For me, it's Dana. Dana who is beautiful, intelligent and loving. Dana who loves me unconditionally and who I love more than she loves me.
Happiness is also being able to do what I love. Being able to love a select few with all of my heart without reservations. I can say that after evrything I have been through, big or small, I am a happy person. I am complete. My pursuit of happiness has ended.
