The Beach

That is a picture I took of the parasol we spent the night in at La Luz Resort, San Juan, Batangas. We left at 5 in the morning on January 20th, it was me, some friends, their kids and mine, some parents. We got to the resort at around 8 am.

I loved the serenity of the place and how the guests were all considerate of the other guests. Meals were served buffet style. We were originally just gonna be there for the day but Paul had so much fun he asked all of us for an overnight and so we did.

The water was clear and there was some good snorkelling although I couldn't stay in the water for too long because I am still bleeding. I saw lots of fishes, big and small under water and even an eel (which scared me).

I spent most of the time just reading the new Nicholas Sparks novel Dear John. I tried to play beach volleyball with them but I was in pain in no time so I had to stop right away.

The kids had a great time, that's what matters.

Anyway, have to go and pick up Dana's report card now.
